Organized under Colonel Hiram Berdan, these elite Union marksmen were selected for their exceptional shooting ability and became famous for their distinctive green uniforms and long-range marksmanship. At Gettysburg, elements of the 1st U.S. Sharpshooters fought on July 2, 1863, including actions around Pitzer’s Woods, the Emmitsburg Road, and the Union left flank.

The full-wrap design features a kneeling sharpshooter, period rifle, distressed Union flag, battlefield troops, artillery, and an aged black-and-antique finish that gives the tumbler the appearance of a vintage Civil War print.
